Engineered & Solid Hardwood Floor Refinishing
99% Dustless Hardwood Floor Refinishing makes old wood floors look new again. It fixes problems like scratches, chips, dents, stains, and worn spots. Hardwood Refinishing works on solid, engineered, and parquet floors. We use water-based finishes and stains that dry fast and have no smell. Oil-based finishes are also available.
Pros and Cons of Hardwood Sanding & Finishing: It’s the best way to remove dents, scratches, and other damage by taking off a small top layer. Sanding lets you change the wood color with different stain options. The downside is it removes about 0.5 – 1.5 mm of the floor’s top layer each time, so it can only be done a few times as per the wood’s specifications.

Sandless Wood Floor Refinishing (Buffing & Polishing)
Sandless Hardwood Refinishing is good for wood floors that look okay but need a little touch-up. It involves lightly scuffing the floor with a sanding machine (floor buffing) and using an etching chemical. Small damages are fixed before adding a new finish layer. This is also called hardwood buffing or polishing.
Pros and cons of Sandless refinishing: This method is medium in intensity. It’s quicker and cheaper than sanding refinishing. It doesn’t take off much of the top layer, but it is not completely dust-free, so some dust may still appear at home. This method won’t fix deep scratches or dents and doesn’t allow for floor staining.
Wood Floor Refinishing & Restoration Via Deep Cleaning & Recoat
This method safely cleans old wood floors without harsh sanding or taking away any wood layers.
Pros and Cons. Hardwood recoating gives great results like traditional refinishing but keeps the wood intact. You can choose finishes like matte, satin, or gloss, similar to sanded floors, and it’s dust-free. However, it works best on floors that are generally in good condition with few damages. It removes dirt and other elements that can harm wood floors, helping prevent expensive repairs or deep refinishing later. Many choose recoating every few years to maintain their floor’s protective layer and avoid refinishing. Although most hardwood floors can be refinished multiple times, recoating helps preserve them and save money over time.
Recoating won’t fix deep scratches or dents, and it doesn’t allow for changing the floor’s color.
